  1. Elder Alexander: We are headed to Durango Mexico to check out the possibility of moving there as a snowbird or for retirement. What can you tell us about the quality of life, what to watch out for, the climate and the local LDS unit(s). We have lived in Europe many years in Portugal, France and the UK and my mission was to France/Belgium 1961-1964 (30 Months with no MTC and no name tags). and speak Portuguese, French and English and only enough Spanish to confuse the Federales. We have traveled Mexico... Cancun and Merida down to the border of Belize plus Guadalajara/Lake Chapala, San Miguel de Allende, Puerto Vallarta in past years and traveled in rental cars the entire trips. Any tips would be appreciated, Bob and Ann Stringham @ Sweet Home Alabama.
